Unsere Lage

The word "Refugio" is Rhaeto-Romanic
and means "place of refuge".

Welcome to refugio.laudegg!

Our hotel consists of 4 theme suites and 9 comfortable double rooms

Our buildings

the buildings were modelled on castle stable. The richer the lord, the more impressive his stables.

Our suite names
originate from the first families who settled in Ladis.

Witches
were also in Ladis. The Walburga Fires were lit here in earlier times

Feel at home in a friendly atmosphere.

The modern architecture of the Refugio provides a contrast to Laudegg Castle from the 12th Century.

The residential units are laid out in a terraced form. Rooms and suites boast large glass fronts and are simply furnished.
The wooden walls ensure that the minimalist concept still feels warm

Four raised buildings in typical country materials nestle in the historical town surroundings. The architecture team worked in close cooperation with heritage and preservation aspects, matched the concept to the location and integrated traditional components. The wooden upper stories are built upon the white plastered ground floor .

Refugio Laudegg is the ideal starting point for sporting activities in the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region: hiking in summer and skiing in the large ski resort in winter.

Laudegg Castle

The residential tower was built in the early Middle Ages and officially documented in 1239 (The Court of Duke Otto von Andechs).
The castle was the center of administration of Laudeck High Court until the 17th Century

In 1406 the Upper Inn Valley joined the Appenzeller Farmer Rebellion- Ladis was burnt to the ground and the castle destroyed.
The castle was rebuilt under the patronage of Emperor Max, but was later only used as storage or as an arsenal depot.
